The rationale behind Watanuki’s accident which nearly caused his life revealed that it was almost the same time when Syaoran was hurting in his battle against the clone in Tokyo.

Remember Watanuki’s cooking client? It was continued in this chapter after that short detour which led to the unveiling of Syaoran and Watanuki’s real connection!
Previously, Watanuki found himself coming to Doumeki’s temple for a sake drink as he is troubled by his client. It was quite refreshing since at times like this the one he usually confides into is Yuuko and after all, it was her who sent him to the client in the first place.
Watanuki recalls his earlier encounter with the lady client. It is her who doesn’t taste things she made herself since its disgusting. She finds everything disgusting but not her husband to be since she doesn’t know him well and she’d like to think that it never happened.
Disagreeing with her, Watanuki quoted that there are things that the body can know what it is one want to do even if the heart doesn’t.

Huh?! I can’t seem to find the rationale behind the woman’s attitude and outlook towards life…what a waste if she thinks like that! I sympathize with Watanuki eventhough he was robbed of his memories but his body is the only one remembering for him. :(

At first I was VERY disappointed with this tinny tiny chapter. But after re-reading the series I feel that a big reveal is about to happen. There was one revealing statement with W admiting he doesn’t want to disapear and won’t. But including that cooking lesson and women has to be leading to something big.(I hope. I don’t want it to be something stupid.) What do you think?
I still don’t understand how W’s name is important. Part of it means “to find you” and the other is kimono padding that is taken out of the kimino and used as a decoy child to fool evil spirits. That last part definitely didn’t work in W case. T_T
Yeah, I suppose CLAMP wouldn’t allow that woman’s arc as shallow as it looks now and like what you’ve observed it look like we should expect a much deeper correlation between her story and Watanuki’s.
I’m a little confused with it too besides the fact that it was made because it’s an ancient magic of some sort to protect Watanuki from FWR’s claws.
Maybe the next chapter will shed some light. ^_^
hope so… but it seems like we have to wait for a few days from now. :)
WTH? I keep checking for new chaps. and found out there is nothing sch. for this month. That IS a major disapointment. :(
Yeah, that’s quite true but sometimes scheds aren’t that accurate I’ve encountered that the last time. I hope CLAMP would have a change of mind then… :)

as for the English scanlations there’s none so far and it’l take probably a few days after the release and I guess raw scans will be coming a little later today if the schedule has been right. i’ll have a post put up for that too as soon as possible. ^^
